My name is Brent Ilgen

Ever since I can remember, I have found joy in the art of creation

Whether it was restoring a piece of furniture to its former glory, crafting a bespoke piece for a client, or simply spending hours in his workshop, shaping wood into something beautiful.

Wood is the perfect element to create anything that you want. There are so many types, shapes, colors, textures that makes each piece unique. Using the woods natural features to exemplify its best characteristics is something I love to sit back and admire once the project is complete.

I give a tremendous amount of attention to detail, just as if it were a piece in my home. Selecting the right type of wood and treating it is crucial to the longevity of the piece and my clients enjoyment.

Whether it is a scrap piece of wood that is repurposed, a piece that has been worn down and it needs a little facelift, or a unique shape that creates a masterpiece, each and every piece of wood has a story to tell. I hope to tell that story through my skills and continue the woods journey onto its next use.
